Healthy Crab and Shrimp Seafood Bisque

Made from crab and shrimp, you can use lobster, scallops, or firm, flaky fish as a good substitute Bisque is very easy to prepare and cook for a weekday meal. If it’s a soup for lunch or the main course, add your favorite salad


3 tablespoons of butter

2 tablespoons chopped green onion

2 tablespoons of chopped celery

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 1/2 cups of milk

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 tablespoon of tomato paste

1 cup heavy whipping cream

8 ounces of small cooked shrimps

8 ounces of crab meat

2 tablespoons of sherry wine

Garnish: parsley, cilantro and / or green onions (chopped)


Melt butter in a Dutch oven or large saucepan over medium-low heat. Adding chopped green onions also celery. Fry, stirring, until tender.

Heat milk in other sauce pan on medium heat.
